Bookeye® 4 V1A-C35 Book Scanner

The book scanner with a motorized book cradle for digitization projects.
Bookeye® 4 V1A-C35 is the professional solution for digitization projects that require high quality images at maximum productivity, while eliminating strenuous, repetitive tasks required of an operator to get the job done.

Bookeye® 4 V1A-C35 scans originals up to A1 in size at high speeds, with the unique book cradle for books 35 cm thick. The motor-driven glass plate operates three modes: fixed glass plate, without glass plate, and with an automatic opening at 45 degrees.

In Auto Mode, the scanning process is fully automatic. Sensors in the book cradle plates control the pressure. The book cradle plates are motor driven and deal with a book thickness of up to 35 cm (Alternatively there is a 50 cm book cradle available).

Bookeye® 4 V1A Professional Book Scanner

The flagship in the Bookeye® 4 family of scanners is the Bookeye® 4 V1A. Scanning A1+ formats at 400 optical dpi, the Bookeye® 4 V1A features an automatic book cradle with up to 10 cm height adjustment, a glass plate that opens automatically and of course the 120 degree V-book cradle. Bookeye® 4 V1A is the world´s only working A1+ scanner that accommodates both flat documents - with or without the glass plate; as well as large, fragile bound documents, using the protective V cradle.

Bookeye® 5 V3 Book Scanner

Bookeye® 5 V3 Overhead Book Scanner Fully reengineered, the Bookeye® 5 V3 is the first member of a new generation of eco-friendly, ergonomic and easy to operate book scanners. It is equipped with a high resolution, low noise CCD scanner camera and an additional matrix camera for live previews.

Bookeye® 5 V3 is available in three models: The entry level model offers the same scanning functionality and speed as the other levels at the lowest possible cost. Upgrades to the other models are options. This model includes all of the features of the Basic model plus the Scan2Pad application for scanning and operation with any mobile device through the WiFi hotspot. This model includes all of the features of the Basic model, but has a higher resolution of 600 dpi and client interface for 3rd party software to meet the highest quality standards.

The unique book cradles allows users to digitize books and documents by either laying them flat on the scanning bed at 180°or in the V-cradle, at an angle of 120° for gentle, protective handling of the source material. The two sides of the cradle are magnetically coupled so that the book fold can be moved easily in the center for optimal scan results.

Bookeye is the eco-friendliest scanner on the market, consuming only 1.5W in standby. Its high quality LED lamps only light up when needed, saving even more energy.

Bookeye® 4 V2 Semi Automatic Book Scanner

Bookeye® 4 V2 Semiautomatic overhead book scanner and book copier is suitable for digitization projects that require high quality and maximum productivity even in 24/7 operation.

Originals up to A2+ in size such as books, magazines, posters, folders or bound documents of all types, can be digitized at high speed and a maximum resolution of 600 dpi using Bookeye®4 V2 Semiautomatic.

The unique self-adjusting book cradle solution allows scanning either at a 120 degree angle or in flat mode.

Motor Driven V-Shaped Glass Plate for High Productivity

The motor driven V-shaped book cradle enables distortion free scans while it also protects the book binding. The balanced design allows effortless scanning without any physical effort. 
For exact positioning on the book fold, the V-shaped glass plate is moved horizontally. If required, the V-shaped glass plate can be removed without requiring any tools or special technical training.

Bookeye® 4 V2 "Basic" Book Scanner

Without being loaded with a lot of costly, unnecessary "features", the Bookeye ® 4 Basic is still a full-fledged scanner, ready for use anywhere where grayscale is enough.

Equipped with a standard scanning application, Bookeye® 4 Basic scans documents, such as magazines, files, folders, bound documents, contracts, and accounting ledgers at an optical resolution of 400 dpi at high speeds.

The clearly structured menus on the touchscreen guide the user intuitively through the operation of the scanner. Scanned images can be stored directly on the device to a USB flash drive or sent via eMail. Uploads to an FTP server, printing to any network or connected printer and saving the images to network drives are also standard Bookeye® 4 Basic functions.

Bookeye® 4 V2 "Kiosk" Book Scanner

Bookeye ® 4 Kiosk was designed specifically for self-service applications. A casual user, from any walk of life, can quickly and easily operate this book scanner.

In libraries, archives and other public institutions, the Bookeye® 4 Kiosk is often found as an integral part of the infrastructure. Through the freely configurable touchscreen, the user interface of the scanner can be precisely matched to the requirements of the customers (and to their corporate identity).

The unique book cradle solution allows users to digitize bound documents at an optical resolution of 400 dpi and A2+ in size, by either lying them flat on the scanning bed or in the V-cradle, at an angle of 120 degrees.

The integrated 19 inch preview monitor allows the operator to control image quality and make some modifications on the fly. Scanned images can be output to USB, eMail, network, printer or on a mobile device like an iPad or Anrdoid tablet.
